On Tuesday evening, 17 June 2025, we will organize a social-science event in the beautiful St. Jorischurch in Amersfoort. St. Joris (St. George) is the patron saint of the city of Amersfoort. The church was built in the 13th century and expanded in the 14th century, enclosing the tower in the church halls. This provides a unique setting for a night of networking, scientific discussions and fun! We’ve arranged a programme that stimulates you to interact with all Watermicro2025 participants. It will draw on your creativity to explore possible microbial water quality and health issues in the future. And we’ll celebrate the achievements of fellow researchers and round off with one of our great passions: Karaoke in the church choir! Drinks and food will be provided. The costs are 35 euro (25 euro for low-income country partcipants), for which you get a social networking event with drinks and bites and a good time in this sublime setting in the heart of Amersfoort, on a 10 minutes walk from the conference venue. Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to socialize, celebrate, and sing in a sublime setting. Reserve your spot and get ready for a night to remember! 🎶
